Description: Halbrand/Sauron looks upon the newly active Mount Doom from a distance.

John: We saw a similar shot at the end of S1.

Marilyn: Yup!

David: Feels darkly appropriate and has a nice call back to the Jackson films, especially with the horn sound. Are we sure it’s Sauron??

Durin IV: An evil, ancient and powerful, has returned!

Description: A close up of Sauron’s face in the same scene.

Marilyn: May be a different scene; he’s staring at something close up, I think

David: Feels like a smaller and closer source of firelight on his face so my guess is a different scene/location

Description: An amorphous slimy goop grows from the ground.

John: What in the world is this? And is it from Sauron or Adar?

Marilyn: [shrug] A second age slime monster?

David: Looks like Venom from the Sony Spider-man series. Def evil creeping up from the depths.

Galadriel: Prepare yourselves.
