In King’s Landing, Gold Cloaks are being viciously murdered.
Rhaenyra learns that Joffrey, her youngest of the Velaryon boys, has arrived at the Red Keep from the Vale. The boy wants to see his mother, but she puts him off seeing him.
Aegon wants to leave Rook's Rest and head for Wendish Town. Larys tries to convince him they shouldn’t. Aegon gets angry being reminded about everything he can’t do and blames Aemon for all his miseries. He tells Larys that he wants to find and kill Aemond.
Mysaria confronts Alicent about Maester Orwyle’s visit with moon tea. Alicent tries to convince Mysaria the tea was for her and not her daughter. .

In the Riverlands, Gwayne tells Cole that he could have a future serving House Hightower. A few moments laker, spikes planted in the ground by the Rivermen seriously injure the horses of the Green forces. Cole kills his own horse who was injured.

Another man sends a message with a raven. The message received by Ormand Hightower, mastermind of the plot to cause chaos in King’s Landing.
